Medicine Man Opens Sandpoint Pharmacy

In July, there was a celebration of the Grand Opening of the newest Medicine Man Pharmacy in Sandpoint, Idaho. The pharmacy is located
in the Super 1 Store at 624 Larch.

Senator James Risch Visit

As Congress continues to work toward drafting health care reform legislation with the goal of providing an opportunity for affordable and quality health care to all Americans, Idaho Senator James Risch visited Medicine Man owner Don Smith for his input on how current government programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance company programs affect the pharmacy and their services to their patients.

After an exchange of ideas and pharmacy information, Don gave the Senator and his team a quick tour of his Post Falls Medicine Man Pharmacy and introduced his staff.

Iron Andy Visits Medicine Man Good Neighbor Pharmacy

Andy Holder, aka Iron Andy, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2005 at the age of 36. As a husband and father, he wanted to prove that he could live life and inspire others to do the same. Andy decided to do something extraordinary, one year later he completed the Ironman Triathlon.

Recently Iron Andy visited Barry at the Medicine Man Good Neighbor Pharmacy in Hayden and shared information about his Iron Andy Foundation with young people who have diabetes. The foundation provides the relief necessary to help overcome the challenges caused by chronic medical assistance and supplies, fitness and nutritional support, and medical scholarships to people in need.

Medicine Man Sponsors Kids Fun Run

From the littlest tikes to the "big" twelve year old kids, they came from all over the country and ran for shirts and glory at the Iron Man village. Recently Medicine Man Good Neighbor Pharmacy was a proud sponsor of the Regence Kids Fun Run at the Ironman village in Coeur d Alene city park. As a sponsor of the Kids Fun Run, each kid who registered prior to the race received a free Good Neighbor Pharmacy stainless steel water bottle.
